These are the brands sold by the six competitor stores from the September research, matched against the 92 brands that have live products on SprinterStore. The page shows where we overlap, where we carry a shared brand only thinly, and which missing brands matter for a van store.
Nomadic Supply is the real catalog competitor. It sells 358 brands to our 92, and only 36 of them are ours. Most of the missing list comes from Nomadic. Some of that list doesn't apply to us: 33 brands are marine electronics and boat hardware, and 12 are Jeep and 4x4 parts.
We share 53 brands but stock them thinly. Examples: Westin (8 of our products, 1,538 at Upfit Supply), Diode Dynamics (2 vs 953 at Nomadic), Warn (1 vs 683), Front Runner (5 vs 787), Luverne (15 vs 962), Fiamma (17 vs 608) and Baja Designs (19 vs 588). Competitor counts cover every vehicle they sell for, not just vans, so the real van gap is smaller. Even so, these are brands we already buy from, which makes them the cheapest products to add.
The biggest real gap is the systems inside a camper build.
Today that part of our catalog is mostly Renogy, EcoFlow, Artek and one MaxxFan.
Racks and recovery gear: ARB is at four of the six stores, and we don't carry it. Kuat is at three. Thule, Rhino-Rack (a brand record we have but don't stock), Leitner, Van Compass, Overland Vehicle Systems and MAXTRAX fill out the gap.
Upfit Supply sells to a different market. It is commercial van upfitting: Holman, Weather Guard, Sortimo, Legend Fleet (another brand record we have but don't stock), Masterack and Ranch Hand. We overlap only through Luverne, Surco, Vantech, Vanspeed, Westin and WeatherTech. Whether to serve commercial fleets is a business decision rather than a listing task.
Owl Vans and Campervan HQ carry small van-parts makers we don't. These include Canyon Adventure Vans, Vanmade Gear, Agency 6, Goose Gear, Van Windows Direct, myboxio and Perfect Fit. Most sell only through direct dealer accounts.
Meyer already carries 109 of the 285 missing brands that matter for vans. NTP covers Victron and Van Compass among those Meyer doesn't. Use the Meyer filter in the table below to see the gaps we can fill without opening a new account.
Flatline Van Co and The Vansmith mostly sell their own products. Flatline makes 183 of its 213 products. Vansmith's catalog is its own, plus Sandy Vans, which we also carry. They compete with us for search traffic and content, not on brand selection.
39 of our brands aren't sold at any of the six stores. These include Avery, PacBrake, AZL, Koni, Sprintek, Trelino and Unaka Gear. This is what sets our catalog apart, so it's worth protecting.
"Own products" counts items listed under the store's own name. Nomadic's product counts come from its brand pages, and all other stores' counts come from their full product feeds.
The table is sorted by how thin our range is compared with the competitor that stocks the brand most deeply. The bars compare our product count (green) with theirs (orange).
The NTP column is filled in only for the 103 brands checked in the September sourcing report. "?" means not checked. "Dormant" means we have a BigCommerce brand record with no live products.
